So browsing on the interweb looking for nursery ideas I found this post
on the always inspiring: baby space blog from last September, AMAZING!!
This lead me over to another blog: one claire day, next thing you know an
hour has vanished and I now feel like I know Claire on a first name
basis....anyways such a stylish family a new addition to my bookmarks!

Tonal Bling

So today I decided now more than ever its time to rely on some statement bling
to focus ones attention on, this tonal mixed metal number with no crystal sparkle
is perfect for all day wear. Along with my over sized T-shirt it helps hide strain my
belly is putting on my skirt!

More wedding

Special occasion dressing is proving to be a bit more difficult than I expected.
Initially I thought if it's flowing it will work.... not always the case.
My tips are:
1. If you have a noticeable bump, wearing something to showcase it can help you
to feel less fat and more pregnant.
2. Be ware the giant cleavage, necklines that were once subtle can look altogether
way to in your face with a quickly expanding bust, having a big cleavage on display
can make everything else look big too.
3. Spend a bit more time on your hair and accessories, it will make you feel fabulous,
even when your back is starting to ache and everyone around you is getting festively merry.
4. Take some party flats in your bag, I didn't last nearly as long as I predicted in my heels.

Beautiful Bride

I just had to share some photos of my beautiful friend on her wedding day,
she renovated her mums wedding dress! Doesn't she look stunning!! Took my breath away.

Crafty

I"m off to a wedding today, it is a no gift, donation to honeymoon affair.
I decided to make some cards as I never have any at the last minute when
I need one! Now I have a healthy stock of cards and mini gift tags. Photos
of "whale at the wedding" to come tomorrow (I exaggerate, I found a dress
in my current collection that I'm really happy with, after trying on and bursting
out of many others)

Spotty suprise 2

Who says sock and sandals is just for German backpackers! I took my new spotty
socks out for a spin (awesome Christmas present thanks Isy) Also on my list of
favorite awesome things are my over sized ghetto love heart earrings.


Today's outfit requirements: Out for dinner, the heels are slowly moving toward the
back of the wardrobe but for dinner outings I can still handle them, will have to wait
and see for how much longer!

Preparation

In preparation for our trip to New York I have been doing lots of research, this is mainly
food related but sometimes I accidentally end up at the shoe section of Saks....these
pretties are all on sale! (I have a massive weakness for all things velvet when it comes to shoes)

Medium Rare

Feeling a bit average today or as I like to say medium rare, kinda like I
have a hangover but with out the fun night before section! The bump is
definitely getting bigger. The long singlet has become my best friend
closely followed by the hair elastic waist band extender, both featured
in today's outfit.




Today's outfit requirements: Cool, comfortable, check out the $19 mustard
flats from rubi shoes!!

Half and half

More new nail art! If you have not already noticed I'm ever so slightly obsessed
with painting my nails, today is half glitter and half gloss.

Birthday bling

A night out on the town for my friends birthday dinner... presents, wine
(no not for me) and inappropriate conversations at inappropriate volume
levels. Our dinner was great, the complementary tude on arrival not so great
but eh, that's Melbourne for you, the Palm sugar ice cream sunday was worth it!
Also....18 weeks today!



Today's outfit requirements: Party time, dragged out my wedding heels, going
to make sure I get some wear out of these babies while I can, my legs were not
overly impressed the next morning after tackling the stairs at curtain house.

Last september

I had some warm and fuzzy flashbacks to my wedding last September when
Polka dot bride posted some of our photographers (you can't be serious)
shots yesterday.I still can't believe the wedding has already come and gone
and a baby is on its way, one thing is for sure we didn't' waste and time ha ha!!

LOVE these baby bags at Kate Spade, I'm a pretty big fan of all things
Spade so I was not too surprised that I fell in love and have now started
trying to justify purchasing when we get to New York in a few weeks, my
pick is the navy with the green bow, oh how I love it's preppy cuteness!
